JRTMAD2k10 11 Posted May 21, 2011 Report Share Posted May 21, 2011 thought i would go fishing today so i rang my mate he said yes no prob so i went down picked him up went to country sport got worms strawberry sweetcorn and a permit and a license set of up to are we fishing spot put i put on a bit of sweetcorn my mate put on a worm dipped in the strawberry sweetcorn we left the rods in and [bANNED TEXT] and picked a we spot for the umbrellas cus it was raining first time fishing in the rain i went back to check my rod and said to my mate ur line looks tense he said nah its the wind i was determined for him to check it so he did and he had a wee roach on the end of it soo i reeled in took the sweetcorn off and put a worm dipped in the strawberry and notice within 5min my float just moving into the reeds i pulled and a pike jumped up out of the water i was shocked i only had a small line of in put up a fight and coming in the line broke i was so annoyed but was a laugh i was getting another hook [bANNED TEXT] i seen a bit of strong line sitting on the ground so picked it up it had three hooks the size i was using put it on worm on each and got bites all day but didnt catch hoping to go up tomoz will let you know how it goes heres a few pics of the day Quote Link to post

Not being funny, well actually yes I am being funny, but it sounds like you and your pal just went for a good about with no real respect to your quarry or what you are doing.
