He scored a couple of good goals granted but no where near the class of becks. As for gerrard, good player but again no where near becks. And yes Gazza was a genius and not for his issuies he probably be one of the greatest players to come out of England.... IMO of course...... How many full games did you see him play ? or did you just watch the odd highlights.....shit dont take it from me take it from your man Fergie.....said at his peak he was the greatest player of the generation he played. Gazza was a genius yes.....for a short time,does that make him a better player than a player at the top for a long time consistently playing to a high level....not in my book....infact id put Bryan Robson way above Gazza. I just wonder if he has played for these clubs for football skills only and not what Backham brings to the club as a package finacailly.
