tell me more Baw, what this means? Do you mean before it was bred into a raceing bird?

 

It's the description of the racing pigeon mate, you get blue bars, red bars, blue and red chequers. That one has 2 blue bars on the wings

BAW all wild rock doves are the same colour, it is these that all the racers came from i believe.... :victory:

Been in man's hands for over 5000 years they say :thumbs:

 

Never knew that jd :thumbs: I used to race them mate 2 decades ago lol, f**k I'm getting old :icon_eek:

Its good to see them nesting on the high cliffs around the coast.

 

The only thing that bugs me is the uninteligent people that throw stones at them when they approach near to them on the beach! They think they a feral pidgeon. I watched a bloke repeatedly stone them when they got in his vacinity. Usually the canaries(people not birds) shout and shake their fingers but no one had clocked him. So i shived through the sand and found a stone! :whistling: when he lay down to sunbathe, i let it go. plum on the top of his head i got him.. :feck::feck: My son and i were pissing our selves as he jumped up in shock. The beach was pretty packed, and he must have got very paranoid... :thumbs:
