Guest Lurcherbitch
A bit morbid i know, But have been in contact with a lady in lancs for a few months now, unfortunatly her hubby has passed away. She has tried her best to keep her promise to her hubby after he died that she would keep his lurcher. She is in bits tonight cause she cant look after him the way he needs, I am picking up the lurcher tomoz. I have sorted mine out....... but to be honest after talking to this lady again tonight I had to confirm my dogs would be looked after by my mate if i wasnt here. I know my son would be devistaded to let go of Sheya & Swifty knowing how much they ment to me. But........ hey it could happen to the best of us and this poor woman is twice heartbroken. Guest MOLLY
Sis and i have discussed all our animals, after a bout of illness made us think about it. Which ones would have to stay with her/me, her pals. Another one may go back to her breeder and which ones to you or Kaye or PTS. Sensible thing to do imo MOLL. Ossie 11
if i went now, my mum & dad would take all the animals except the snake, who would go to my mates' daughter (she's wanted him for years!), and the cat, who would go to my best friend. in the future, when my parents are gone? cross that bridge when i come to it. i should imagine my brother would probably take most of the animals. my mum has given me very specific instructions on what i'm to do with her animals when she goes - she wants her horses to be put down, and their ashes to be buried with hers. no one could look after them as well as she does, her life revolves around them. her old mare is 28 now, the picture of health, i've never seen a horse that age look so well. i really don't think there's anyone who could give them the same level of care. she has a tortoise as well, which she has had for nearly 40 years, and she has actually left that to my youngest cousin in her will! when my dad goes, i'll take on all his lurchers, terriers & ferrets. if me & me dog go at the same time (car crash or summat), we're to be buried together. not that we've spent much time thinking about it or anything..
Guest craftycarper
to tell you the truth i've never given it any thought a bit worrying really, i always live for today and don't give much thought for tomorrow hence the reason i'm a bit of a twat 41 yrs old, no pension, no life insurance
