Nice one Garry, :clapper:

Thats what the foum is all about, passing on Ideas, hints and tips

We have a lot of newbies that pop up and you've given some valuable tips and ideas there :clapper:

Apart from when over in Germany and a shot with a similar set up to yours I've not used my scopecam yet, although thats going to be changing once I've had a little more range time. My set up is the step up and step down rings to hold the camera in place. I quite like the idea of putting a lighter camera on top of the scope using the little bolt adaptor that you show as well.

One thing that you did forget to mention though, is its a thousand times harder to shoot accurately via a scopecam  even when shooting from prone or bench rest and time on the range is required to perfect the art and get used to the difficult and un-natural shooting positions that we use.
