Has any body fished hear since new owners have taken over i am given to understand that major improvments have been made

the pools have been desillted and good reports on the food and fishing have been made on their website

the fishery had a cracking catch and release pool great fun for a couple of hours

 

my question has it improved in your opinion

i have always used it as a teaching venue and found it excellent on there catch and release ticket up to 20 fish

what made you hate it other than it being very easy fishing

when john was there he even gave me free rein to fish any of the pools

To be fair i only went once mate, but if its the place i'm thinking i could have thrown my rod to the other side of the ponds, and it was way way way crowded. Also seemed a lot of the guys mates hanging about and generally butting in and acting the mega fisherman. I might have the wrong place, and i AM an anti-social kind of fisherman, so bear that in mind. And yer the easy fishing bit, it's not really my cup of tea. Can see tho, if it was quiet, it would make a handy teaching spot. Not a bit far from you tho? You fished any others in this/that area?
