Guest houndblair
I awoke at 6.45am fed the ferrets, did my nets, packed all my epipument loaded all in the car, drove to my mates house collcted him and his guns arrived at out desitnation for half eight As i only had one collar due to my ferret taking the collar of 2 weeks ago and the battery went dead i only could enter one ferret and a time, but after avout 5 minitues a rabbit bolted took the net and landed in a puddle, folwed by another but got out through the same hole and made a getaway So we packed up and walked about half a mile away and began to net up a warren, When an old man came over cheeking us of telling us we where about to enter our ferrets into a badger/rabbit shared hole and got really gobby with us So we unnetted and carryed on walking, as we whe aventured across this track looking through a gate going into someones garden we spotted a squirell mooching about agmost some chickens, so out went the gun and bang , Then later in the day after our shooting sessions we netted up a final warren and it produced one big rabbit!! gutted both and where both in ealry stages of pregnancy So after this friday abd my trip uo south wales on a mates farm i will call my season to an end RESULT 2 RABBITS, 1 PIDGEON AND A SQUIRREL ALL WITH FERRETS & GUNS! Sorry no pictures but on my friday outing i will hopefully have some!! Quote Link to post
