Out this morning and couldn't get close enough for a decent shot....came across this otter but it was submerged and was only skimming the surface of the river got to within a few feet but as you can see it just headed down river when it heard the shutter from the cam. :wallbash:

Like the dipper, I make a wish list each year, dipper is on the list for 2011, havent seen one yet, but trying..to tell you the truth, aint got any of my wish list this year up to now, but, time yet..

There's a few of them on this strecth of river need to find a better vantage point :thumbs:

They like fast flowing streams with rocky beds. There are planty of them in the S.Wales Valleys. Saw a few up in the Peak distrct earlier in the year too. Was shocked when i first saw one a few years ago, they're bigger than i expected. :thumbs:
