chesterhunter 4 Posted April 14, 2011 Report Share Posted April 14, 2011 ive witnessed strange amounts of salmon coming up my local river for the past fortnight.there are alot more than normal and was wondering if this is happening anywhere else in the country..i should of mentioned my local river is in chester called the dee and we do get a good salmon run but this year has been amazing they are everywhere Quote Link to post
pikeypaul 11 Posted April 17, 2011 Report Share Posted April 17, 2011 Hi, theres loads coming up the tees but some dickhead decided to put a barrage across the river and a poksy salmon run so all the fish get laid up behind the barrage untill the seals come up stream and pick them off. Sat for an hour once and counted at least forty fish taken by seals,CRAZY. Quote Link to post
