Boysie 12
(the title is meant to say farm, not fram ) Hi, I'm meant to be starting an apprenticeship in agriculture with Houghall College this September, however I'm finding it hard to find someone willing to take on an apprentice. Preferably a livestock farm, as that's my main interest, but fully willing to work with crops, poultry, etc. I am 23 years old, with 9 GCSE's, and have grown up with horses and chickens, so some knowledge already of land based work. I have my own transport. And it would be 4 days work per week, then I'd do a day at college. I will be being taught not only taking care of livestock & welfare, but general labour, tractor driving, dry stone walling, etc. I have a genuine interest, I am not work shy and willing to perform any tasks. Any help, even just a point in the right direction would be hugely appreciated. Cheers Edited April 13, 2011 by Boysie
