REALLY, PREY TELL TELL because it is an ornamant, no more. the reason you can't get the right note is because it is not an instrument. i've been blowing hunting horns for 30 years and i would'nt even try to get a note out of it. i realise after looking at my post it looks like i'm being a smart ass, sorry i don't mean to give offence. if you want a decent one it would cost upwards of £100. you need to find out who has made it, the names to look for are kohler and h keat.
