Is it the norm for lurches to take bunnies by the back legs?

 

I have my bitch working really well at the moment, but I have noticed that each rabbit she takes it always by the back legs, and retrieves alive to hand .

 

Last night I went for a quick walk on my own with bitch, cause Reynardhunter is a little woman, to colddddddddd.

 

Anyway I slipped her on a rabbit and she nearly burst the ditch going in after the rabbit, out she comes with rabbit by back legs.

 

Any thoughts?

my saluki cross lifts them by the back paws the rabbits doing the wheel barrow no problems with other quarynot long had her lamping

I don't care personally...as long as they grab them somewhere!

wich is good for me as she is faily hard mouthed
