Guest peakhound
can vouch for the slug beer traps, only trouble is you by even cheap beer and you have to fight someone to stop them drinking it! . Out of interest, what is the best way to get rid of the then dead drunk slugs? will birds eat them and if so get drunk? or will they just not eat them? i put them in the compost bin, seems to do ok! There's a good book - i think it's called something like 101 ways to kill a slug, made me laugh!
Guest Ditch_Shitter
Ducks are very well known devourers of slugs. But don't ye find they tend to mess the place up themselves somewhat? Never fancied keeping any for that sole reason. Mud and shit. Never heard the thing about mice before! Learn something new every day here Oh and, look; This almost a DONATORS Thread, isn't it?
