airsporter (which scope?)

ive just been given a bsa airsporter from a friend, i think it was the latest one out rb2? anyway had it out this afternoon did ok got 5 woodies but the scopes on it are pants! nikko stirling 4x40s. just wondering what you lads use on your airsporters and what youd reccomend as i think its quite a heavy gun (even compared 2 my rapid i think)im gona hang onto it as itl come in handy for goin local. cheers

What's wrong with the Nikko, mate? Something like that should be fine for what you've got unless it's fecked....

 

If you want something a bit more modern with maybe variable mag, I use a JSR 2-7x32 on my HW90 and I really rate it. Nice and compact and perfect for field use IMO. There's no point spending shed loads of cash on a scope if you don't need to.

would like something with a variable mag [bANNED TEXT]. its prob just me used to the big scopes on my other rifles, but i just dont like them
