Running after having stitches out

Recommended Posts

Just after some advice . Whippet had to have 1 internal stitch and 5 external stitches on his hock 8 days ago after cutting himself on broken glass on the beach.he is having them out on thursday morning, just wondering how soon after having them out can I leave him off the lead for a good run as he is now bouncing of the Walls. Have been walkon him twice a day on the lead for about 2 hours in total but as I said he is desperate now for a good run. Thanks for your advice.

No one on here can answer that with any certainty, especialy without seing the wound. The best person for advice is the vet who put the stitches in, and will be taking them out.

Cheers.
