AlbertJ 569 Posted March 3, 2011 Report Share Posted March 3, 2011 I have had a meeting with the Mid Antrim Club over ways to reduce the cost of terrier & lurcher participation at the Irish Game & Country Fair at Birr Castle on the 27th & 28th August 2011. The following has been decided: Saturday racing : All racing will be run as a sweepstake. Fees will be €2 per entry with the winner in the Whippers, Terriers , Under and over 23" lurchers will take ALL of the entry money in that paricular class. I will also provide a tankard for the winners and the club will provide rosettes for winner & runner up. AND all people running dogs on Saturday will receive a FREE admission ticket to the fair on Sunday. So you can run your dog on Saturday, enter it in a show class on Sunday and have two days at the ROI's top countrysports event for €22. Albertj Quote Link to post Share on other sites
