Why do some people have the idea of chucking a ferret out in the wild to fend for it's self when they no longer won't it I have now found 2 dead ferrets round my house and no before any one asks there not any of mine lol  it's really starting to p..s me off I am now going to put traps out to see if there is any more out there hopefully will find some thing RANT OVER lol

i can honestly say mate. I walk loads of miles and am out everyday, yet i have never found a dead ferret, and only ever found 2 live ones.. which with the area they were in, made it quite obvious they were lost while working. to find 2 just around your house dead, surely had escaped.

same as you mate i've worked ferret's 23/24 year's an only ever found one ferret an that had a collar on it.. they must of been escapee's or killed an dumped there.

No collar lads and they were both albios they were both very thin and just looked like they had given up there is a road near by but apart from that no other house for 9 mile just very strange indeed

when i said i found a ferret with a collar on it. it was a locator collar .

I have found a few ferrets and reunited them back with their owners.

What realy piss's me off is when people find ferrets and dont attempt to try and find their owners and just keep em or give

them away like theyre their own.

I found one at the side of the road once reversed back and checked it over nice wee polecat jill been run over . I keep hearing of folk giving up or releasing kits into the wild god knows if its true
