pilgrim1982 0
I have a choice between a Clulite clubman deluxe with a 50 w 1000 000 candle power lamp and a Lightforce walkabout kit with a 30 w 500 000 candle power lamp. The Clulite is a bit more expensive. Is it worth paying more for the extra candle power or is 500 000 sufficient? advice appreciated. I might add i will be using the lamps with my two whippets. thanks
Guest Frank
In my opinion, for what you will be using the light for, i would go for the Clulite. How do you find the whippets as rabbit dogs by the way? I have got a whippet pup, she is 5 months now and coming on great. Good luck, Frank.
pilgrim1982 0
yes i like the clulite as well and i think it would be worth paying a bit extra. My whippets haven't had a chance to chase any rabbits yet but that will change soon As far as rabbit dogs i think they are the best. They can turn like none other dog and accelerate so quick. Only time will tell though. They are showing alot of potential and will rag a dead rabbit with much enthusiasm and rabbits skins seem to be their favourite play toy. Guest Frank
They look good. What lines are they from and hight? Nice colourfull jimjams in the background aswell. The best of luck with them. Keep us up to date on their progress. Thanks for putting the pics up, Frank.
pilgrim1982 0
thanks. They are from no special working lines. They both come from show lines. the fawn and white one comes from collooney lines. They both stand at the same height at 20 inches. I did state in another post that they were 19 inches but i didn't measure them properly, just in case anyone is wondering how they grew an inch, lol. I will let you know how they go when i take them out. Have you got any pics of your pup?

Guest Ditch_Shitter
CLULITE All the f*cking way, mate!!! :good: :good: I've been out with my mate when we've taken his 'Other' Lamps(s) and Every F*cking Time we've come back early and cursing the pieces of shit! Then I stood there, right beside him, as he asked his trusted Gun Shop about what to do. Dave - the gun seller - didn't hesitate. He said " THIS is The Kit! Cost's a fair old whack; But it's The B*llocks! " (Clulite). Deano visibly paled at the price. Ummed and aahed. Watched as Dave demonstrated it's points to him. Bought one. That same night, just as I was opening my front door, my mobile went off. It was Dean. The guy was out in the middle of a bog somewhere and Jabbering! He was SO amazed and delighted with his new lamps performance, he just Had To tell someone! It really was THAT Good! Further, Dean was round here the other day. He had his lamp and rifle with him. The rifle he just plonked down somewhere. The CLULITE he placed on view. Then just f*cking gazed at it as we spoke! I mean; I've seen 'Love', but this was getting f*king ridiculous! Dark fell and he ushered me outside. OMFG! Dean reckons they ride comfortably and lightly over ye shoulder strap. They have the built in 'Lamp Holder', on the front of the pack. The wires are all solidly placed where they should be, and bloody well Stay there. Beam has to be seen to be believed! I too shall be in the market for a GOOD Lamp presently, all things being equel. I won't ask for or look for 'A Lamp'. Just a CluLite 'LightFarce' ? That'll be the ones people are creating entire Threads around the way they need Repairing, at the end of each nights Lamping with them - IF ye ever get a full night out of one? F*cked if we ever have!

IanB 0
Clulite your best option for rabbits....lightforce for anything else.
Guest oldskool
there are alot more up-sides to a clulite than any other lamp on the market... i heard they made a 1mill cp rifle lamp and you can buy a handle for it seperate???? the advantages are that you can adjust the beam and its every bit as reliable as its cousins, laser/blaser!!! the disadvantage is that it is supposed to cost a bit more and also it doesnt have the secondary bulb for a walking light ... i will look into it!!! http://www.clulite.co.uk/productsMain.aspx?CI_ID=26 .... it does have a handle after all plus the same filter systems as the laser/blaser.... i wish i bought one now instead of the blaser.... when you adjust the beam to spot then surely it will knock the socks off of any lightforce lamp???
