eight week old pup where to start?

i have just got a kelpie/whippet greyhound/bedl cross he is eight weeks old .

I would like to take him out on rabbits eventually but in the meantime need

some advise on what and when to start training him .

I tried to buy purdys progress from an online retailer but this failed to show up in the mail and the guy wanted another 12 quid to resend it( 12 quid for what looked a copy! )

I dont mind shelling out for a decent book but would rather get an info packed book than lots of pics , any ideas?

Are there any websites with practical working info rather than just profiles of breeds

If you ordered and paid online then the onus isn't on you if it didn't arrive mate. The seller should put in a claim through the postal service or whatever company he sent it by. You however, should still be given the item you paid for or a full refund, not your fault it got lost in the post

yeah shazza thats what i had hoped but being skint and not going the £20 a disk route cost me ,the guy was a knob ,when it didnt turn up he said he had transposed my address number , i called at that address they sent it back to the post office ,the guy then said he wouldnt replace until he received it back .

so i am a bit reluctant to try and buy again , any one know of a file anywhere?
