OK, well as you all can guess I sit in a corner of Norfolk, and watching weather report decided that yesterday afternoon/evening would be the best time to get out to do some shooting, get some more practise in, attempt to find a bunny etc. Forecast throughout the day was fine until 6-6:30pm then rain would set in. Kept checking up as you do, 3pm, get the gear ready, phone up permission so they can move the horses, they say it is raining, what???

 

Check outside and rain is advancing, now this is some 3 hours ahead of what the forecast said 10 minutes ago! Excuse me? Are there weather stations anymore? We live near one of the last remaining RAF bases, they need to know the weather? As far as I can make out the accuracy of forecasting the weather has gone right down the pan.

 

It was supposed to be pouring down with rain here all day, most of the day was supposed to be under a deluge of almost biblical proportions (I could be exaggerating there)! It was certainly supposed to be precipitating merrily down at this point. Get up to exercise the 3 loony muts, open the back door, bits of blue sky twinkle merrily at me, no damned rain, in fact been up 4 hours now and no sign of damned rain! Ah feck it!
