JUST GOT MY HW100 BACK

Recommended Posts

Well guys today i got my hw100 valve housing and cylinder back from hull cart, the threads had stripped on both items. even though the gun is a 2004 model and i wasnt the original purchaser they did the work under warrenty all i paid for was postage to hull cart. :toast: got a call from them yesterday to say its in the post all fixed and tested for leaks, a week sooner than expected so well done HC. parts arrived at 0630 this morning :icon_eek: i was away working so the mrs had to sign for it  Got back this evening and started to reassemble it, all good unitll i found ive lost the screws that holds the action in the stock and the barrel band screw :wallbash: im gutted as i always put any parts into a strip box and seal it untill ready to put back together again. i just cant understand how these have been lost.

Any how does anyone know the thread and bolt sizes for thes two? i want ot go get some tomorrow, i can wait for them to be posted im too impatient. any help would be greatly apprecieated.

Hi Redeye.

Nice to hear Hull Cartridge did right by you mate, excellent.

A phone call to them may be your best bet for the screws, they could have them in the post same day, if they have them in stock

Hi Bill, yeah was over the moon when they said it'd be done under warrenty. the screws are 6mm with a 1mm pitch went down to my mates engineering shop and got a few sorted. i'll be ordering the correct screws on monday morning but these have done the job for now. So glad to have it back, its been broken in the cabinet for 8 months. now i can use my S200 .177 for use with my night sight and my HW .22 for day time. If only this rain would bugger off so i can get her zero'd and back in action.
