Slice the meat very thinly and drape it over the wire of the oven shelf and heat for a few hours on absolute minimum heat. No need to season or anything, just dry it out, then enjoy! If you want to keep it, you need some sort of preservative, but I always find it doesn't last long enough! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
"Earth!" 503 Posted February 19, 2011 Report Share Posted February 19, 2011 no need to heat all in do is cut in thin strip,rub cracked pepper into it and chilli then simply hang it in a well ventilated room.. if dried proper,it will last weeks in a bag with the air pumped out.
