Buster321c 1,010
Right . My Regulated S410 has a recomended fill pressure of 210 . This means when i fill it , the guage on the bottle is my guide and i stop at 210 , simple . You will always go from your bottle`s guage , as gun gueages are a bit vuage to say the least , but ok for an indication of where you are . A regulated gun will only show an amount that its set to , IE , mine is ALWAYS 110 , this flickers very slightly when i pull the trigger but settles back at 110 . This may help - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcFQBIUQiGI http://www.airguns.net/general_regulators.php The bottle will only show you the pressure that is contained in the cylinder , dont worry over the regulator pressure . Hope this helps , Buster Quote Link to post
martin fx 0
Hi, after much care i have filled the gun up. woo. thanks for the help guys. As i was not total sure had a friend help me and read the good advice you gave, cheers, In the end we shot 60 pellets though the gun to use up the air and then slowly with much care filled up gun from bottle, wooo. If anyone can still help with the question:: If i am going out shooting and need to fill up the gun to get a full charge and i am not sure of the pressure left in the gun coz the gauge never seems to go over bars, if i only fill to 170 on bottle and there was just say 100 bar in gun would that mean there was 270 in gun ???,, thanks for help great site, cheers, Quote Link to post
Buster321c 1,010
When you fill from a bottle , the guage on the bottle wil show you how much is in the gun . IF IT READS 170 THATS HOW MUCH IS IN THE GUN !!!!!!! If you imagine the `reg` as a tiny cylinder inside the main cylinder , the guage will show you the pressure contained inside `reg` . It works like that so when the reg releases the air its always the same pressure , so you get consistent shots . Buster Quote Link to post
