Guest alfie Posted June 10, 2005 Report Share Posted June 10, 2005 What time do you usualy start your days ferreting ? are you No 1, a be their at first light type person and spend the whole or most of the day ferreting,or No 2, wake up at first light have a bit of breakfast and a slow drive over to the permish ? only to find ferreter no1 has just done two four holers and just started on that long hedgerow that seems to hold hundreds of rabbits ? or are you ferreter No3, get up a couple of hours after first light have a bit of breakfast, do a few jobs about the house, meet up with your mates have a pub lunch and have the last few hours of light in the afternoon just to do a bit of social ferreting ? and if your realy unlucky have a 4' dig just as its getting dark. Me, I am somewhere in between No1 and No2, as an early start and may be digging 5 or 6, 3 footers, Im ready for a kip in the afternoon must be an age thing Quote Link to post
