Having been a cub-scout, scout and cadet I've always had an interest in the outdoor pursuits. Oddly my attraction to hunting was sparked by the film The Deer Hunter. Ever since I saw that film, a few years ago now, I've had a strong interest in shooting and hunting and I aspire to one day stalk English deer. I've limited experience of shooting spring-piston air rifles (as a scout,) and .22LR bolt-action target rifles (as a cadet,) and plan to get myself an air rifle and join a club when I'm 18 - less than three months away now!
