The reason why i have joined is because I'm interested in hunting rabbits (with air gun), but have no clue what so ever about where i start, and where i can find somewhere local to do this legally? So if you have any links to help me out to find somewhere local. Then it would be much appreciated. Finally, i would like to say sorry for being a novice at this, Tarantula's are my thing. BEARINATOR 2,918 Posted February 7, 2011 Report Share Posted February 7, 2011 Welcome to the site, for local permission knock on the farmers and landowners doors and ask them politely if you can control their pests, offer a couple of days work when they are busy, lambing, harvesting etc. You will get knocked back a few times but eventually you will get one that says yes. When you get your first permission make sure you respect all property and livestock on it as when they see you doing a good job they will tell their friends, other landowners and farmers so leading to more permission. Before you attempt to shoot live quarry do plenty of target practice on targets at different ranges so you know your limits, the gun might kill further out than you can consistently hit the target but all kills have to be humane. There maybe a fellow member on here that will take you out to learn the ropes.
