whin 463 Posted January 30, 2011 Report Share Posted January 30, 2011 HI GUYS LOOKING FOR A GOOD JILL FERRET TO BREED INTO MY OWN DOG FERRETS LOST MY OLD BITCH AND HAD NOTHING TO REPLACE HER FROM SHE CAM OF A GUY CALLED ROB MOORE VIA D SLIEGHT , SHE WAS A VERY GOOD FERRET KILLED FIRST TIME OUT AND NEVER LOOKED BACK SHE HAD 2 LITTERS BUT GUYS WHO HAD THEM GAVE THE GAME UP AND THERE FERRETS WERE PASSED WILLY NILLY SO TRYING TO GET SIMLIAR SHE WAS ABIG SANDY AND SHE DIDNT MESS ABOUT WITH THE RABBITS ETC , ILLE PAYE A FEE OR A FREE DAYS RABBITING WILLING TO TRAVEL Quote Link to post

gnipper 7,129 Posted January 30, 2011 Report Share Posted January 30, 2011 Its a longer way of doing it Whin but could you not use a bog standard working jill to one of your hobs and run the litter on and keep the best jills back for breeding to another hob from your line? whin 463 Posted January 30, 2011 Author Report Share Posted January 30, 2011 ye tried that already but maybe have to go that way ,been lucky with the old ferrets and dogs but hard to keep a standard ,good ferrets that stay and kill etc and keep on going bitches are harder to get at times for on the hill were the rabbs just a litle more tricky at times and at this time of year prefer to fight the ferret rather than bolt Quote Link to post
