sako 23 Posted January 25, 2011 Report Share Posted January 25, 2011 I,ve just ordered a foxpro fx3 digital caller, what in your experiences are the best calls from the foxpro website for calling the foxes and what order do you find best to use the different sounds? I just thought there's bound to be some people with experiences of the callers who've spent years trying and testing the different sounds so it saves me wasting time and not getting a shot off because of using the wrong sounds. Also I've yet to come across someone who can imitate a vixen or dog fox calling or fighting or whatever with their hand! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Irish Lurcher 1,013 Posted January 25, 2011 Report Share Posted January 25, 2011 I have tried many callers in my day, and the best by far is/was the UCaller, I have the new modle and it works a treat. The rabbit distress sound is second to none, I have had them come in from a far to this caller, its worth looking at. Now having said the above, I think that most companys who make these callers use the same sound card, hope this helps. Have a look at the caller on www.lractive.com. Also was hoping for some advice on the sequences which to use them like start with a vixen call then switch to a high squealing type call then to more of a quieter mouse squeak type sound when charlies getting close enough for a shot. I've checked out the foxpro website and there's a fair selection of calls I just wondered which are the ones that are tried and tested. Cant believe no one uses proprietry made calling sounds! doesn't anyone on this forum actually get of their ass and do some lamping not sit in front of a freakin laptop pressing buttons??? saying that you all must be doing something cause hardly anyone seems to reply!!! #edit: with exception to you irish lurcher I do appreciate your reply!
