ozzieowl 53 Posted January 23, 2011 Report Share Posted January 23, 2011 well got to put my female harris down for moult due to losing her back talon,come at a bad time as just got some new permission 5 mins from my house,she ok in herself but letting her recover fully,if anyone as one hunting thats silent let me know untill then i look like taking a few pics of my mates harris while mines not flying,the seasons seeem to get shorter,but never mind,as anyone else had to finish early due to there bird getting injured,cheers john. jasper65 6 Posted January 23, 2011 Report Share Posted January 23, 2011 Bad day at the office mate . just one of the sad pitfalls that can happen when we fly these birds! some Talons grow back ok but some come back twisted or alot smaller than the original, hopefully you'll be lucky and things will turn out ok ...
