watchman 256
i have permission on a local golf course for lamping and running along side a particular stretch of course there is a small section of woodland, its about 40yards wide and roughly 300meters long, golf course as i say one side arable fields the other,no buildings/livestock or even feeders for pheasants at all. anyway i walked through this the other day and within a few meters in i saw a rat up ahead as i approached it went into and old rabbit warren, there is used and un-used warrens the whole stretch, anyway walked the complete length and right at the end of the wood saw another, same again entered a warren, the question is am i likely to find them in LARGE numbers or as its woodland will they just be small colonies living in old warrens, its the first time i have seen rats in this bit of wood for twenty years so they are seemingly moving in,just got me thinking cheers Quote Link to post
