Guest Ditch_Shitter
Pushing for a Force 9 on the old Beufort Scale out there as I write, lads! I'm Very anxiously watching one nearby spruce tree that's rooted in some soft, wet ground and is presently tilting to the proverbial 30 degrees or more! If that muvva f*kka comes down, it's touch and go wether or not she can clip my power lines! That happens? It'll be good night and thankyou from me. Ditch Shitter will most defiantely be leaving the building! I'm about to go out there and try to reassure myself by pacing out her estimated range of drop. But it's not looking good from where I'm sitting! Is this shit due to keep up / intensify tonight? If so, I'll be busy with my chain saw and in fire wood for Years to come! Had to laugh; Ran into town last night. Popped into the butchers just in time to hear him saying to another customer; " ..... And it'll come through, testing every loose sheet of corrugated iron in the country! " We all laughed - Then!

david2363 42
Its been wild here in the NW too. Just a bit scary this morning when I took the dog out - flying wheely bins (I kid you not) Whilst we are on the subject of high winds, does anyone elses dog act a bit weird when its stormy/windy? chillitt 0
DS, just stop for a moment, do you really want to go out there, find the tree most likely to fall over, then turn your back on it?
