CraigGreg89 1
Hi there, I am new to the forum so, hello peeps. Basically i am starting ferreting again and would like some advice. I used to go when i was younger with my dad but we packed in when the hunting ban came in and started carp fishing instead. A lad i work with has offered me two jills and after some thought i have decided i am going to start again. I was just woundering what size hutch i would need and if anybody knows where i can get a good but cheap one from. The same goes to purse nets aswell. I still have my old deben mk1 finder but i am thinking of getting the mk3. Is it worth getting two colloars or should i just stick with the one? Ohh and these jills will be a few month old by the time i get them so when is the best time to actually start to work them? Thanks craig Quote Link to post
KittleRox 2,147
Welcome tae the madhoose, you,re better building your own hutch mate, buy yourself a couple of sheets of ply and some framing,if you do a search on here you,ll get an idea how to build it,don,t buy a cheap one oot the pet shop they,re a waste of money,as for nets type in ferreting equipment into your comp,or maybe get one of the lads off here to make you some,I think longnetter makes them, Quote Link to post
