northwestmitch 9
Thought i would put some picks up of my whippet, we where invited to tag along on a days rabbiting, my dog has not done much due me not having any permission, we have spent alot of are time mooching without much luck. He has not been around ferrets before but he is a steady dog and listens to commands he did okay, showed some intrest in them but more so later in the day when he had worked out ferret goes in, rabbit comes out His first rabbit he ran, he was all over the place started off behind it then came along side it then over took it I think after that the penny dropped alot keener, more atentive to what was going on above and below the ground and soon after picked up his first rabbit. all in all not a bad day. ReggieCuz 18
nice one mate. At last, a bloke who's prepared to admit his dog is learning the trade. Too many people on here make out like their dog immediately took to the job and did the business like an old pro. A youing dog needs to learn, they all do stupid things when they're learning but they learn from those mistakes. Nice little dog mate.. Quote Link to post
