Hannah4181 260
Chicken wings are an excellent source of food for dog IF combined with a mixture of other raw meat and bones to ensure a balanced diet. When i first switched to raw about 3 years ago i was so worried about what to feed, how much etc etc. In my opinion the secret to it is having a variety. Beef, lamb, poultry, venison, rabbit, bones and flesh/mince, some offal, fish veg and eggs once or twice a week. I know some go into the science side of it much more, i prefer to go by the look and performance of my dogs. If your just feeding chicken wings along side kibble then its fine, as the kibble if good quality should contain everything else they need. I personally wouldn't just feed a dog on chicken as i feel its not a balanced enough diet. i'm sure they'd survive and do ok on it, but i like to give them the best possible diet that i can. I use a supplier thats about 10 mins up the road from me, he delivers once a month, fills the freezer, job done. There are cheaper ways of doing it, and if i had the time i would visit all the local butchers myself to collect stuff, but quite simply i don't have time, so for me this guy is the perfect solution. His products are all of excellent quality and he always has a huge range in stock, and i feel his prices are good. Not sure where you are but he does deliver a fairly large area. http://www.thedogfoodcompany.co.uk/
