Mosby 355
Hey all. I bought a Tomahawk when I was younger and had a pain in the ass sighting the thing. I had to put tape under the front scope rings to get it to adjust the scope down far enough to hit a cardboard box. Not to mention the recoil pushing 3 different sets of rings back and back and back. I finally got a single rail scope mount but it wouldn't fit the dovetails. Had to take it to a professional and get proper rings. I have also noticed that it rattles all the time. Has anyone else had these problems with a Webley Tomahawk? It cost an arm and a leg and is decently accurate. Now I've got all the scope problems fixed but what about the rattling? Quote Link to post

jasper65 6
I had a .177 Tomahawk in 2001 and must say I enjoyed the rifle. it was the first of the earley one with the long stroke and very tuneable. I mated it up with a Tasco Mildot and it did the business but as I remember I was shocked how far the windage on the scope needed adjusting to find zero, it nearly took up all its travel. at that time a pal had a Air Arms Pro Elite also in .177 and no doubt about it the Tomahawk kept up with it no problem . pianoman 3,589
Hi Mosby mate. Give the cocking link a tap as this usually loosens and rattles when the pivot has begun to fail. All the best. Simon Quote Link to post
