Out Today with the team

Well guys and girls, out again today, popped around to some seasonal permission, and have managed to get the shooting permission for the site now too, went on to the invitational ferreting foray on the nearby farm. only took two ferrets with me today, one hob, one jill, (i should have taken at least four, foresight is a wonderful thing. After netting up the nettle bank which i mentioned in my last post, we entered the two furry gits and within half an hour we had 11 out we moved over the other side of the fiels, to ferret around two WW1 Pill boxes that were clear of undergrowth and were a pleasure to net, all seventy of them!!! well another 13 out of here and the rabbits were bolting like rockets, and the ferrets were working their little socks of all day. With the trip over by 15:30, i had to make sure we were finished in time to paunch the rabbits and get them to the butchers before they closed.

All in all a good day, i'll sort out the piccys tomorrow all being well.

It's all finally coming together mate, i hope to be able to report a good day next saturday, back to the same land again, earlier start planned this time, and with more nets and a team of four ferrets it should be a cracker
