Uses of rifle mounted laser

Hi lads,

Just a quick tutorial of some footage that I’m still working on for the new DVD.

It’s almost finalised apart from me demonstrating the techniques on live vermin through my scope camera at night.

It will hopefully clearly demonstrate some other uses of a rifle mounted laser and be of some use to someone on here without the experience of most the regs.

Yes Collie bud,

You will hit from 7 metres to 13 metres.

If you look at my picture of my own BSA r10 ballistic profile, the pellet will stay within my kill zone from 7m to 13 metres :victory: .

Its a very handy trick / tip to know

Its really good for close range ratting day or night or on a barn clearance of feral pigeons(daytime)where shots are often fast.

Hi Catcher,

Its quicker i find to keep the laser on when zeroing it.

If you turn it off move a bit, then turn it on you may have gone to far or not enough on its turret.

At least while its on you see the POI as it moves and can stop on the cross hair.

When i used to shoot a GunPower Stealth in 2005 i had my laser under my barrel which meant that there was a big angle between the scope line of sight and the laser spot which made it very sensitive to range finding due to the bigger angle.

If you can get a bigger angle then this works better.
