Annmarie09 5
Acp is ok but it is still a drug, try Rescue Remedy from a chemist, I use the spray and it is totally safe. A couple of sprays in the mouth can work wonders almost straight away but it tastes nasty as the base is grape alcohol. I use it on foster dogs, myself, my horse, you name it! The ad on the TV is for a DAP diffuser, they are good but about £30 and you need one for each room your dog is in. You can also get DAP collars, they are also expensive though. If you're using the DAP you need to get it in advance and use it from before bonfire night as they need time to kick in. They work like pheromones. The last thing to try is desensitizing the dog to noise, not for this year though, it's too late. You can get firework noise CDs and you start off playing them quietly and gradually increase the volume. And before you all scoff, it does work if done properly.
