Coneytrappr 30
I go 5-6 months and don't expect to see their true working colours until their second season. Quote Link to post
proper22 5
I started working one of my jills from this years litter at 16 weeks(4 month) however i left her sister to start later on.. this was becuase she was smaller and lower in the pecking order and showed less fiestyness in her behavior so i didnt think she was quit old enough and up to starting just yet,, so i'd say it depends on the size and confidence-sort of thing of your ferret. ... also only start em on small warrens and what coneytarpper said was spot on you on only see there proper potential in there second season .. there first season shoud be about giving them as much experience a spossible and bringing them on at the right pace increase the warren size gradually and put themn down with a ferretwith experience if you can that can show it the ropes. hope this helps all the best with it Ben Quote Link to post
