Patterdale x (working) Sealyham yearling

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Here's a webpage I just threw together with some pics I snapped before dawn this morning. My Patterdale x Sealyham bitch pup, Gypsy, is 12 months old as of this week. She's now fully grown at 11" and 11lbs give or take.

She's apparently taken offence to the smell of ferret crud on a patch of dirt around a small paving slab, dug the slab up and tunnelled on looking for said ferret. I caught her at it this morning after having given her a telling off for paying that spot way too much attention last night...

Anyway here's the results (Internet Explorer only - MHTML file).

From what I can gather (having found her curled up in the "stop end") she's obviously found nothing resident and decided to make herself a den, which I've highlighted in one of the pics. She was curled up asleep in there for a couple of hours this morning, looks like I've some unexpected backfilling to do today!! The four inch deep pile of dirt extends all the way behind the hole, into the porch and on into the downstairs shower/wet room

Time for me to take the hint, I think. This pup is ready for some work!!:clapper:

She looks awfully scruffy with her natural coat (the white bits grew longer than the black!), but she's pretty tidy when stripped out etc - at which time she looks just like a piebald Patt. Not worth bothering in this weather really though, 'specially as she's mostly outside.

Anyway I'll shurrup now, just thought this was amusing :drink:
