bird 10,014 Posted September 29, 2010 Report Share Posted September 29, 2010 When you slip the dog for the first time on a rabbit does the dog always hunt up and not really listen or is this a problem. :realmad: :realmad: if it does shoot the fecker ,what you want to is (forget) quarry 1st.Do recall to the lamp, on the lead only a few yards 1st. if ok take it a bit further 10yds.....etc. do this for a 1/2 hour, then try quarry if no good, just go back to recall. Give it a hour, then pack in. Do this every night, as i said forget quarry, this might take a feckin month . But its the only way, once the dog knows if it fecks off, it goes back to training it will (sink in). Quote Link to post
