RaiderBoy 19
For all my carp fishing life i have used day ticket fisheries and getting some good results but there are a few factors which can ruin fising at times when fishing day ticket waters like the amount of rubbish left about attracks rats and having to keep all your bait in the car during night sessions isnt convenient and also during the summer holidays on the day ticket that i fish at there was so much bait put in buy kids who were there for the daytime only that the fish had basically 32 empty baited swims to chose from. Im totally clueless about how syndicate lakes work, how they take on new members how much it costs each year and also how do i go about finding my nearest syndicate water?. i know a few people on here are part of a syndicate and could you share your experiences about fishing syndicates compared to day ticket waters? bobcullen79 1,495
Hi Rich. sindicate waters usually have a long waiting list and big joining fee, couple that with a big round trip to and from the lake, and you have to ask yourself,is it worth it? Do you not have any angling clubs nears you. The one im with has about 10 lakes and a few beats on two rivers, dotted round the south. Bargain for £75 a year. All our specimen lakes are well patrolled too so that cuts the litter and thus the rats down. Kids and over baiting is always a problem most places in the summer, but that will calm down now the summer is fading. Hope you get on somewhere good anyway. tight lines. Quote Link to post
albert64 1,882
been in a few syndicates, anyone can apply you just go on a waiting list, one i joined let you fish sept to feb mid week for the first season it took 4yrs to be able to have a 7 day ticket, syndicates can be very expensive, and it does'nt get you away from the dickheads i had one bloke ask me what i was doing fishing his swim as he'd been baiting it up for 2wks he was sick as f**k when i pulled out 3 fish the smallest 27lb 4oz he tried to report me to the commitee for leaving an untidy swim but lucky for me the bailliff was there when i was packing up so he ended up with the ban youd probably be better off joining a good club mate Quote Link to post

bobcullen79 1,495
Google your area. I dont think its a case of wheres the nearest one mate. Its more about what the lake holds in terms of your goals, and how far your willing to pay/travel Quote Link to post
