OUT AT 6AM THIS MORNING

Recommended Posts

Me and my mate decided to have a look out with the lamp at 6am this morning , change of tactics to see what foxes would be lurking about early in the morning. Anyway there was a real freezing wind blowing  but I lamped another vixen in a grass field which was dispatched without haste :)

Then we waited for dawn to break , spotting 2 roe which casually just walked out of sight :(

Then we spotted a rather large fox crossing another grass field but this one never stopped still long enough for a shot and made it to safety. We covered a few more fields when all of a suddden we spotted a roe doe crossing the field we were in , it walked a few paces and then fell down got back up and fell down again. As we were near a main road we presumed it had been bumped by a car so proceeded without haste to put it out of its misery.

Top shooting as allways. :thumbs-up:

As said before, what was rong with the roe doe, did you come to any conclusion when you skined her?

Frank.

Never had a chance to look Frank , as the keeper threw it straight in back of Land Rover and took it away. When I had a quick inspection I could only see a few cuts on its haunch and hock , no sign of a broken leg so I guessed it must have damaged its pelvis..............
