well i know a few lads that have hi lux's (one of which make a living from them) and i've never heard any of them say there any good off road, quite the opposite, i've even seen the odd one stuck in places that a little subaru justy would probably get through. imo none of the hi lux, L 200, navaras etc are really good off raod, but there not too bad with 1/2 ton of sand on the back though. ;)

p.s i've never seen a hi lux in any of the big off road events either :(
