Cheers boys....im gathering you cant pause a dvd while recording and just record the bits you want like you could on a tape to tape vhs ?!....and do you lose any quality in the transfer ?.....

Spose i,ll just buy one and give it a go,prob walk out the shop with a toaster

You can pause it,via the vid or dvd as i know i edited whatever i needed out.

Quality wise, was very good & possibly better,if i remember right.

Sure you can buy a dvd/video all in one ?

If you do get stuck,or don't want to buy a recorder, then give me a shout.

Supose it depends on the material and the personal content weather you would want someone to do it for you. Theres a few guys on ebay do it for just more than a tenner if memory serves. Just send them the tapes and your editing requests and they convert to dvd for you. I had one done for my mothers anniversary, had no problems what so ever. Hope that helps a little.
