seany 54 Posted September 19, 2010 Report Share Posted September 19, 2010 Morning all,finished my nights friday morning grabbed a few hours kip and headed out to my permission and came to a bury wich was covered in briars so out came the big lad mechete So after spending an hour chopping away thought i might as well give the ferret a run not expcecting much because of all the noise,set my nets and went for a short walk.Came back and entered the young hob Mick.This ferret I feel is getting the hang of things now with him coming above ground and almost tasting the air and returning down different holes without getting tangled up.Now I didnt have enough nets for this bury but thought what the hell and netted up where the Dag was marking and sure enough one bolted pursed in the net and pinned by the Dag All in all it wasnt a big haul by any means but everybody performed well and things seemed to be gelling together. Saturday did a five holer after a minute there was a bolt another in the bag but he went back down for a while only to come up with blood round his chops so maybe he killed down there,who nose?
