How did you get in?

Hi all, I would like to hear your stories of how you got into game keeping, did you volunteer and end up with the job after some time or go to college and get the qualifications??

Few years beating, then asked by the keeper to feed for a week for him, then helped out on work days, when i was out of work he sorted me part time work keepering for him and everything that goes with it. Only a DIY shoot mind you but still learnt a hell of a lot and that was how i got there.
