Rake aboot 4,936
Aye Well the Pajero engine finally gave up the ghost on the way back from the Dumfries game fair. No compression ,oil and water everywhere. I was away at work when it happened so I started to hunt about for a replacement motor. after seeing what was available, I couldn`t really see anything as good as the Pajero. If I spent a fortune on a posh 4x4 I would wreck it with dogs and ferrets etc. and every thing else looked crap. had a look at a Navara but wasn`t impressed and in the end I let the missus get an Audi TT 225 quatro (well it is a 4x4 and I have used it for ferreting cause the Paj isn`t repaired yet.) I picked up another engine for the Paj.£530 deliverd with a written warranty. When the old motor was pulled out. the chassis was seen to bee in great nick so that will get another waxoil treatment. the rest of the car is perfect cause I`ve looked after it so hopefully I`ll just keep it for another 5/6 years Only thing I want is a roof lamp. Any thoughts on the best ones. All in all, I think i`m keeping the best motor I`ve ever had for fieldsports and I don`t regret it, even though I love getting a new motor.
