back on the water for a couple of hours

so i got the boat back last friday and this morning the weather had cleared a bit so we decided to kill two birds with one stone.

we set of about 1 oclock to test the boat again and we brought the rods.

we got her in the water and loaded her up and headed of to a local lake that i have never fished before.

about half an hour of trolling i hit into the first pike not a bad fight and the 1st of the winter season for me

 

 

not long after that my mate hit into the second a smaller pike but plenty of fight all the same.

 

 

well 5 oclock and the weather had closed in so we decided to call it a day but it was a good day for me no matter what, boat going perfectly now and a pike into the bargin. no stopping us now, lol

mind you that said she did not get a female name, now that would be a bit sh1tty

i ended up getting a dejon 14 with a 25hp engine. tis a grand job, lol

i have decided to name her "Esox Hunter" i think it has a touch of class :notworthy:

 

had a hicup with her at the start but all seems to be good as gold now, fingers crossed now
