jf1970 328 Posted September 10, 2010 Report Share Posted September 10, 2010 hi all,will be taking my pup molly out for the first time on sunday,going to grab a few purse nets and 1 of my ferrets,and head for my nearest permission,where i have a couple of small warrens picked for starting her of (3-6 holers).not to much cover,so there is plenty room for her to see whats going on,an hour or 2 then back home,cheers......john Quote Link to post

By all means let the pup watch what goes on round the sets, but before you let it go on runners ensure it is mentally and physically mature to deal with what you are asking it to do. By the look of the photo it isnt ready for hard strenuous work, being a pup, frustration could set in and start yapping, take your time mate, dont spoil a cracking little dog by being too eager to start it.
